What we collect

When you submit an inquiry, we receive your name, email address, company if provided, country or destination, requirements, selected product models and quantities, the source page or route, campaign labels (utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign), referring domain and the first page visited in the current tab. We use these source details to understand which channels bring inquiries. Campaign links should not contain names, email addresses or other personal information. We also keep the inquiry reference, submission time, notification status and internal follow-up notes needed to handle it.

The inquiry application uses your IP address in memory to limit repeated requests. It does not add your IP address to the saved inquiry record. Separate web-server access and error logs may contain IP addresses, requested paths, timestamps and browser information for service operation and security.

Your browser stores your selected models, quantities and requirements draft locally. They are not automatically submitted as you type. If you submit the inquiry or choose email or WhatsApp, the information you choose to send is transmitted through that channel.

This website has no customer accounts, online payments or advertising pixels. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your inquiry.

Website analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand website usage and successful inquiry submissions. Plausible processes analytics data in the EU. It does not use cookies, local storage or persistent visitor identifiers, and does not track visitors across websites or devices. It processes page paths, referral and campaign information, approximate location and device information to provide aggregate reports. We do not send inquiry names, email addresses or message contents to Plausible. See Plausible’s data policy.

Why we use it

We use inquiry information to respond, prepare quotations, clarify specifications and communicate about an agreed order. Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on pre-contractual steps requested by you and performance of a contract, or our legitimate interest in handling business inquiries and keeping the service secure. We do not use inquiries to build a marketing mailing list and do not carry out automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. If we offer marketing emails in future, we will ask for separate consent. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

How long we keep it

Our retention period for ordinary inquiry records is 24 months from submission. Expired records are removed in scheduled monthly cleanup. If an inquiry becomes a transaction or must be retained for a legal obligation or dispute, the necessary contract and tax records are handled separately for the applicable required period.

The same inquiry-retention schedule applies to company-held mailbox copies, local copies and backups. Mailbox and separately exported copies require an operational retention review; deletion requests must cover these copies as well as the active inquiry record. Security logs are managed separately: the server rotates logs daily and keeps the current log and 14 rotated logs. Local browser drafts remain on your device until you remove them or clear this site’s data.

Who we share it with

We use Alibaba Cloud hosting in Singapore and 263 for business email delivery. Our authorised personnel in China access inquiry information to respond. Information sent using your own email or WhatsApp is also handled by the provider you choose under its own terms and privacy policy. We may disclose information when required by applicable law. We do not sell personal information or add inquiry contacts to a marketing list.

International transfers

Website inquiry records are hosted in Singapore and handled by our team and business email services in China. If you are in the European Union, European Economic Area or United Kingdom, this involves handling your information outside your country or region. Applicable rules may require additional safeguards for particular transfers. Contact us for details of the arrangements relevant to your inquiry.

Your rights and requests

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing of your personal information. Contact Michelle@jundalighting.com or casey@jundalighting.com; either mailbox can receive a request. We may ask for information needed to verify that the request relates to you.

We respond within 30 days, or within one calendar month if that is sooner under applicable law. If a lawful extension is needed, we will explain the reason within that initial period. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority. Transaction law in our sales terms does not remove applicable data-protection rights.
